| I wasn't speaking of the benfits of copper vs. platinum. I was speaking about the benifits of a plug that is made for our car (talking length here). See Bernie's post above in this thread (the one with a picture in it) and you will see what I mean. Our heads were designed specifically so the spark is stated in the center of the combustion chamber. You defeat that (and cause associated problems), by using plugs that are not designed for the car (and thus are too short in length). The plugs designed for our car are more expensive because they are a lower volume model - economics. Is that what you wanted?
